The Digital Revolution Has Begun...
You've stumbled upon EOSrebels.com, the site for fans of the Canon family of digital SLR cameras. This website was designed for those who have crossed over from the point-and-shoot world of digital photography into the endless possibilities of the digital single-lens reflex camera. When Canon introduced the Canon Digital Rebel 300D to the world in September 2003, it blew the doors wide open to millions around the world to digital SLR photography. The Digital Rebel was the pioneer affordable digital SLR camera priced at an accessible sub-$1000 price tag. Since then the Digital Rebel has gotten even better with the launch of the Canon Digital Rebel XT 350D in 2005 and the Canon Digital Rebel XTi 400D in 2006. In that time, the user base of Canon photographers has exploded.
I started off with the original Canon Digital Rebel 300D and debated between upgrading to the Canon Digital Rebel XT and the Canon EOS 20D. I spent weeks researching which camera was right for me and continued to research what lenses met my needs. I found it frustrating to start from scratch and learn all the terminology and research lenses and equipment, so I decided to save everyone else some time by organizing the content and putting it all in once place. I created this site to be a resource and community for beginners like myself and hope that you find the content helpful in your search of your perfect gear list.
