Canon EF 24mm f/2.8
For a really reasonable price, you can get this ultra-wide and fast 24mm lens. It lets you focus in as close as 10 inches. The image quality is not phenomenal (like that of its big brother the f/1.4) but for the price and aperture it's a decent prime to have. It's not a pro L lens but that also means it much lighter and more compact.
